Finally my Letus Extreme came in the mail and an occasion to test it popped up almost immediately. Scooters for Hooters is an fund raising event for breast cancer in Orlando, Florida. Funds were raised through a scooter parade all around downtown, bands performing, artists’ exhibitions, raffles, open bars, etc. My friends Robert Gilpin and Pat Williams got the link to the heads of the organization and produced the shoot: the deal was basically to film as much as possible; the editing wasn’t up to us, the organization is going to send all the footage to a post house and edit a much longer piece. We had five cameras running: my EX1, a Panasonic HVX200, two Canon XL2 and a Panasonic DVX100b. This is an extract of the stuff I shot: I had to film some extremely long interviews, which filled a LOT of space on my 2 SXS cards (8gb and 16gb) and left little room for the cool stuff.
